ECZEMA SOCIETY OF KENYA
THE ECZEMA SOCIETY OF KENYA (ESK)is a registered non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to supporting individuals affected by Eczema and other skin conditions and diseases in Kenya.
Founded on the principles of dignity, inclusivity and empowerment ,ESK is committed to improving the lives of people living with skin diseases through advocacy, research ,policy engagements and community support.
Our Mission:
To amplify the voice of skin patients in Kenya and beyond through advocacy, education, research and strategic partnerships.
Our Vision:
A world where people struggling with skin diseases enjoy quality care, equal rights and holistic support free of stigma.
OUR CORE FOCUS AREAS
Patient Advocacy
- We are a strong voice for patients living with skin conditions.
- Eczema Society of Kenya empowers patients and caregivers by raising awareness, reducing stigma, promoting rights, and driving meaningful engagement in healthcare decision making processes.
- We work closely with local and Global partners to ensure the patient’s voice is central to healthcare policies an services.
Research
- Eczema Society of Kenya actively collaborates with health proffessionals, academic institutions and research on Eczema and other dermatology diseases.
- Our research efforts focus on data generation, understanding patient needs and contributing to scientific evidence that informs best practices and improved treatment outcomes.
Policy Outcome
- We engage with Global, National and County level Government bodies ,healthcare institutions and other stakeholders to influence policies and programs that support Dermatology care and skin health.
- Our goal is to ensure that chronic skin diseases are recognized and prioritized within Kenya’s health agenda.
